Interview - alliance GOD

The alliance GOD has been on top of the ranking for the entire 12th tournament. However, it seems that Alliance Leader Dodoplanet is not satisfied with the results. So much so that he’s debating making a few changes to the alliance’s life at the start of the new tournament…

I would like to ask you, Dodorally, to sum up in a few sentences which events of this tournament affected your play-style or your alliance life?

We made the mistake of making a ceasefire with LEGO at the beginning of the tournament. We did this because we wanted to use this to maintain a correct diplomatic relationship between our alliances. We wanted to keep the true reason for our battles alive. But it turned out to be a big mistake on our part, because it decided the outcome of the entire tournament. LEGO -using their diplomacy to gather lackeys- turned the tide of military power, and eventually outgrew us. The other turning point of the 12th tournament was when IF used its independence to team up with LEGO to attack us. These two events alone have decided the outcome of the tournament. Everything is two-sided in the Universe-we didn’t crush them at the start, and they crushed us instead...

Looking back, what do you think of the tournament as a whole?

As I’ve mentioned before, those two events decided our options for the rest of the tournament. We suffered quite a few setbacks because of changes made by the USRIB –which is why I decided to retire from my post as Alliance Leader. I might even decide to return to the alliance DON and continue my activities there.

Do you have any other opinions regarding the previous tournament you'd like to share with us?

No, not really.

Please share with us your plans for the next tournament in GOD.

As I’ve mentioned, it’s unlikely that I’ll continue my career in GOD. As such I can’t comment on the future of GOD. All I can say is that the alliance DON will return, and I welcome anyone onboard-weather they’re previous members of GOD or completely new players!

What is your oppinion on the new applications recently implemented into the game?

I found some of them useful, others not so much. Personaly I'm more interested in the battles than the applications...
